Meetings, publications, and studies we contribute to.
We are sponsoring the full-day masterclass on primary brain tumours held in Padova, Italy on the 22nd of June 2026. The masterclass will cover the diagnosis and treatment of primary CNS tumours, including imaging, radiotherapy, and novel systemic therapies. Please get in touch if you are attending. We would be glad to meet.
We attended ESTRO 2026 in Stockholm from 15–19 May. INTRAGO-II, a randomised phase III trial of intraoperative radiotherapy in newly diagnosed glioblastoma, was presented in a plenary session by Prof. Dr. Frank A. Giordano. Medwave contributed through clinical monitoring, imaging review support, site support, and study set-up activities.
The GLORIA study, an ongoing phase I/II trial investigating CXCL12 inhibition combined with radiotherapy in glioblastoma, was presented at ESTRO 2026 by Dr. Julian Layer. Medwave supports the study's advanced imaging component, including central imaging review and imaging-related workflows.
The expansion arm of the GLORIA trial evaluated radiotherapy with NOX-A12 and bevacizumab in newly diagnosed, MGMT-unmethylated glioblastoma. All patients achieved a radiographic response, including one complete response. Median overall survival was 19.9 months versus 12.7 months with dual therapy. Medwave supports the central imaging review and imaging workflows.
We attended the 19th annual meeting of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology in Glasgow. As neuro-oncology is central to our work, EANO is one of the meetings we follow closely.
We attended ESMO 2024 in Barcelona. A good occasion to follow the latest developments across oncology and connect with colleagues in the field.
The dose-escalation phase of the ongoing GLORIA trial evaluated NOX-A12 — a CXCL12-neutralizing aptamer — combined with radiotherapy in ten patients with newly-diagnosed, MGMT-unmethylated glioblastoma. Well-tolerated, with 90% showing a radiographic response. Medwave supports the study's advanced imaging component, including central imaging review activities.
